Locals urge to repair road

Imphal, December 15 2017: The work order for the construction of the road connecting Rangkhung village to Khebuching village and Tamenglong HQs, has been issued by EE, PWD, Tamenglong Division to the contractors concerned, on December 20, 2016, but no work has been taken up till date, conveyed a press release issued by secretary of Duiluan Village Authority .

The pathetic condition of the road coupled by overflowing of drains has created immense hindrances to the locals and the passers by, it stated.

Distressed people and villagers have appealed the State Government and the authority concerned to take up necessary action against those contractors who have delayed the construction work till date.
