Imphal, February 15 2022: Independent candidate Tongsin Willingson of Kanankhu village, who submitted his nomination for contesting Manipur Legislative Assembly election from Chandel A/C, has withdrawn his nomination paper on Tuesday. A notice issued by Chandel (ST) A/C returning officer Mayanglambam Rajkumar informed with the withdrawal of candidature of Tongsin, only two candidates, namely Langhu Paulhring Anal NPF and SS Olish of BJP are in fray for the Chandel seat.
