Imphal, July 13 2016: Koutruk, Senjam Khunouand Senjam Chirang Development Organisation has said that people of these three villages have never given any land to the Government for setting up of Cultural University at Koutruk.

Reacting to Art and Culture Director Dr K Sushila's announcement that the Government has acquired land at Koutruk, the organisation demanded her to clarify on the issue.

The organisation said that people of Koutruk, Senjam Chirang and Senjam Khunou had requested the Government to set up National Sports University at Koutruk but not the Cultural University.

The organisation said that no Government official would be allowed to move into the said area for survey of land for setting up of Cultural University.
