Imphal, November 12 2015: KSO, Moreh organises
Kuki Students Organisation, Moreh has organised the 1st Late Thenkholun Haokip Memorial inter-school essay writing and painting competitions today at the conference hall of Hill Tribal Council, reports our correspondent.

Sponsored by the Chunngai Culture Troupe, the competitions were participated by 80 students.

IMA National Satyagraha
The proposed IMA National Satyagraha on Nov 16 has been postponed as per the directive of Indian Medical Association, Headquarters, New Delhi.

The National satyagraha has been postponed following the assurance given by the Ministry of Health, Govt of India to act on the five demands raised by IMA within six weeks, a statement informed.

Blood donation
As part of its 10th foundation day observation, 81 members of Kangleipak Students' Association donated blood at JNIMS Blood Bank today.

The association expressed hope that it will continue to work for the betterment of society by taking up such noble initiatives in future too.

Association urges Govt
Manipur Drivers' Welfare Association has said that some Imphal bound vehicles were looted by armed miscreants at Nungkao on November 10 .

In this regard, the association urged the Government to enhance security on the National Highways.

Gifts distributed
12 Bihar of 9 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of Hqs IGAR (S) distributed sweets, candles and crackers to the children of Sneha Bhawan Orphanage located on Tiddim road on November 10 .

A team from 12 Bihar visited the orphanage to convey Diwali greetings on behalf of the Assam Rifles and distributed sweets and fire crackers to the children, said a press release issued by PRO Hqs IGAR (S) .
