Imphal, October 12 2015: A group of people who were travelling in light vehicles had been looted by unknown miscreants on Sunday at around 8 pm in Keithelmanbi area along the National Imphal-Dimapur road.

The drivers were robbed of around Rs 7000.Sources said that groups of people equipped with AK 47 rifles regularly come out in the areas between Motbung and Henbung of Senapati district to loot travellers.

The drivers did not report the incident to the police fearing reprisal from the armed looters, the sources said.
