Number of OPD patients at JNIMS restricted

Imphal, January 11 2018:
Acting on a plea submitted by the HOD (Obst & Gynaecology) of JNIMS, Medical Superintendent i/c of the hospital in a an order has restricted the number of patients in the Obst & Gynaecology OPD to 150 only per OPD working day with immediate effect.
Howeevr, emergency cases will be accepted at the Obst & Gynaecology Wards through OPD & ATC/casualty counters.
The HOD in his plea stated that due to the improvement in the standard of management of the patients in the State run medical college, the numbe of patients at OPD has increased tremendously whereas the number of bed and manpower remain the same.
