Imphal, August 08 2015 : Assam Rifles has provided purified drinking water to many flood affected victims of the State.

According to a source, the AR has deployed flood relief columns numbering about 250 for providing support to flood affected victims in far flung places.

20 AR have provided purified drinking water to many flood affected villages of Pallel and Chandel areas from Aug 4 to 6.Likewise, 22 AR provided purified drinking water to residents of Kakching, Wabagai, Pangaltabi and Sugnu, the source added.
