A one day seminar aimed at facilitating enrolment of Manipuri students in Management Education and Research Institute (MERI), College of Engineering and Technology, Janakpuri, New Delhi was held yesterday at Hotel Classic here.
Speaking at the inaugural session of the seminar, MERI College of Engineering and Technology Director Dr VK Kapur said that apart from the Delhi campus which also serves as the institute's head office, it has opened branch campuses at Bahadurgarh and Asanadha in Haryana.
During the last 25 years, MERI has produced 23 toppers.
Saying that MERI has been recognised by the Government of India, Dr VK Kapur invited Manipuri engineering students to study at the college.
Jenita Sarangthem who is teaching at MERI College of Engineering and Technology, Humanities Department said that MERI has linked up with 23 different countries.
