NSCN (IM)'s statement serious challenge to Manipur govt: Ibomcha

Imphal, July 07 2015 : MLA L Ibomcha has on Tuesday strongly condemned the recent press statement of NSCN (IM) claiming that it has full right to carry out extortion activities.

The MLA brought up this issue during the Zero Hour of the Assembly session.

He further added that this statement is a challenge straightaway to the Manipur Government and demanded that the Government nab those who are responsible for this statement by invoking NSA against them.

If the Government keeps silence and passive in the matter, it will be akin to a free hand to such a serious illegal activity, he added.
