Irregular power supply irks residents of Thoubal

Thoubal, July 05 2019: In connection with the frequent power outage at different areas of Thoubal district, under the jurisdiction of Manipur State Power Distribution Company Limited Thoubal power house, Khong Ahanbi Youth Association, Thoubal Manipur has urged the authority concerned to disclose the reason of the irregular power supply to its Thoubal consumers.

A press release issued by secretary of the association stated that the installation of prepaid system has proved to be more of a bane than boon for the consumers of the district.

Conveying that the frequent irregular power supply has caused immense grievances to the lives of the people, especially those who are earning their livelihood through small business and industries, it further urged the authority concerned to look into the matter at the earliest.
