15 days basic IT certification course starts at Ideal Girls College

Imphal, June 03 2019: A 15 day basic IT certification course for students began today at Ideal Girls' College, Akampat, Imphal East.

The IT certification course was organized by Ideal Girls' College with the support of PN Regional Institute of Skills Development, Changangei Makha Leikai, Imphal West.

Speaking at the function , Directorate of University & Directorate of University & Higher Education, GoM OSD P Shantikumar who attended the function as a guest of honour noted that Manipur is lagging behind from many other States in terms of IT.

He also pointed out that IT has become an important part of the general education as certain developmental aspects like e-learning, e-library have started providing an enormous platform for accessing information.

Higher Education, GoM Joint Director L Iboyaima underscored the importance of acquiring at least the basic skills of IT in the present day.
