Imphal, February 02 2014: The United Committee Manipur (UCM) has lauded the State Cabinet decision to appropriate Government jobs to the five mountaineers of Manipur who successfully scaled Mt Everest and four actors who bagged national awards.

Speaking to media persons at their Lamphelpat office today, UCM president Y Nabachandra remarked that the Cabinet decision to appoint Mr World 2012 and MSACS brand ambassador Pradeep Kumar as Physical Education teacher in Youth Affairs and Sports Department is a great news.

He further urged the Government to make some special arrangements under which outstanding sports persons who have several titles can be given appropriate Government jobs.
