Thoubal, July 31 2019: A team of Cdo Thoubal assisted by Cdo-Moreh arrested a 'colonel of UNLF' identified as Saikhom Sarat Singh alias Tomchou (53), s/o (L) S Ibohal Singh of Heirok Part II Bazar from Heirok Bazaar today.

He joined UNLF in December, 1986 through one Khundongbam Tomba alias Pambei (70), s/o (L) Kh Itocha of Heirok Part II Bazar (a/p Wangkhei Ningthempukhrimapal), presently 'chairman'.

He got 45 days basic military training at Tonu, Myanmar in 1987, said police.
