Imphal, April 28 2016: 12 Assam Rifles of 26 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of Hqs IGAR (South) organised a friendly volley- ball match at Kwatha village in Chandel district on April 25. The aim of organising the match is to instill confidence among the youths and also to build a good bonding between the Assam Rifles troops and the villagersm said a press release issued by PRO Hqs IGAR (S).

The match was played be- tween troops of 12 Assam Rifles and a team comprising of youths from Kwatha village.

Both the team displayed great enthusiasm sportsmanship spirit and stiff competition.

The match was won by the local team.

The match was witnessed by a large number of audience from Kwatha and adjoining villages.
