Imphal, August 27 2018: Tulihal Battalion of 9 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis ofHQ IGAR (South) organised a tree plantation drive by Nambol Company Operating Base in Maibam Chingbang, Bishnupur district toady.

The drive commenced with a lecture on the importance of clean environment followed by tree plantation.

A total 30 saplings were planted by the children of the village at the village community ground.

The local populace thanked Assam Rifles for their initiative towards this noble cause.
