Shop in flames, goods worth ' 2 lakhs burnt

Imphal, August 25 2011:
A godown of an electrical store in Thangal Bazaar caught fire today in which goods worth around ' 2 lakhs was burnt to ashes.
The incident occurred at around 11 am this morning.
the Fire Service came to the spot in time and saved the shop from further damage.

The owner of the shop has been identified as one Shabharjiv Singh son of Ranjit Singh of Punjab currently staying in Thangal bazar.
The police have registered a case in this regard.
