Imphal, June 25 2013: As part of the month-long programme being carried out by NSS Cell, Manipur University, National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit of Imphal College has launched a 2-day poster campaign against drug abuse and illicit trafficking from today at its college campus and the adjoining areas of Kwakeithel Bazaar.

During the campaign, Principal of the College Prof.RC Hamom explained the importance of students especially NSS volunteers to combat drug abuse and illicit trafficking which has become a threat to public health, the safety and well being of humanity, while Programme Officer of the NSS college unit, Prof.L Ranjit Singh advised the NSS volunteers not to make any physical assault on drug users but counseled them properly to bring to the right path.
