Imphal, November 22 2010: Troops of 23 Assam Rifles provided assistance to Patkai Christian Academy in the form of transport facility from Shangshak to Ukhrul and back for the students and the staff to attend the National Talent Search Examination- 2010 on Nov 22 .

In another occasion,42 Assam Rifles of 26 sector under HQ IGAR(South) provided administrative and materialistic assistance to organize a campaign, Badhte Kadam by the Spastic Society of Manipur on 21 Nov10.The aim of the campaign was to spread the awareness among population of Chandel district about the plight of people living with disability.

A number of skilled programmes were performed by the handicapped children.
