Imphal, October 22 2019: G Kishan Reddy, Minister of State for Home Affairs visited HQ IGAR (South) today and he was accorded a warm welcome by Maj Gen K P Singh, YSM, IGAR (South) .

The Minister was briefed by IGAR (South) on important security and operations matters.

He lauded the troops of Assam Rifles for their sacrifices and efforts in maintaining peace and tranquillity in the region, said a press release issued by PRO, IGAR.

The MoS also addressed the troops of IGAR (South) through Sainik Sammelan and interacted with all ranks during tea and further complemented the troops for maintaining peace and development in the region, it stated.
