Condemning the brutal murder of K.Wilungbou Chawang of Oklong Village on July 6 and Akha Salouni of Tungjoy village but staying in Khabung Karong, on July 21 at Delhi, Senapati District Students' Association (SDSA) has demanded immediate arrest and punishment of the culprits.
In a statement, SDSA President Dominic Azuna said that will not continue to receive dead bodies of NEpeople particularly innocent citizens from Senapati District but will strongly react in every possible way to immediately stop such crimes.
Hearing reports of 359 cases of crimes against the NE students and two death cases from the District in a single month is alarming and a grave concern for all.
This figures are recorded in just six months, Dominic said.
"We demand immediate arrest of all the perpetrators who committed the crimes and appropriate punishment be awarded to them without any leniency as per the law of the land to stop such inhuman behaviours in the future", the SDSA statement said, while extending its heartfelt condolence to the family bereaved family members of late K.Wilongbou Chawang and Akha Salouni.
