Water bodies refilled to address scarcity

Kakching, May 20 2021: BJP Manipur Pradesh former vice president Thokchom Jadumani in collaboration with Water Resources Department has started pumping water into Keithelmanbi Dam canals and filling up community ponds to address the issue of water scarcity in different villages of Khangabok assembly constituency and nearby areas.

Water has been pumped into Keithelmanbi Dam's Langkhongpat Khong and Thambal Angangbi canals for Sangaiyumpham, while 100 ponds have been filled with water at Sangaiyumpham Part-I and II.

One Mujibur Rahman of Sangaiyumpham Cherapur expressed his gratitude to Th Jadumani for providing water and solving the issue of water scarcity of the villages.
