Imphal, February 20 2021: Kakching Battalion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South) conducted an awareness lecture on COVID vaccine and immunization in Kakching from February 19 to February 20 .

While adequate attention has been given by Assam Rifles to educate the locals of Kakching and troops about 'Dos and Don'ts' to be followed during the pandemic, a need was also felt to educate the troops and debunk the myths related to COVID vaccination, said a statement issued by PRO Assam Rifles.

The Medical Officers of Kakching Battalion conducted the awareness lectures and educated the troops about the COVID 19 vaccinations and it was followed by an interactive session wherein all queries related to the vaccine were appropriately addressed, added the statement.
