Imphal, April 19 2017: Medical team of 2 Assam Rifles of 9 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South) saved one snake bite victim yesterday.

Six-year old Roshini of Thoubal Kshetri Leikai was bitten by a snake while playing at home and was immediately rushed to the unit hospital of 2 Assam Rifles.

The victim was attended by the medical team and necessary first aid was administered before being referred to Thoubal District Hospital.
