Imphal, December 18 2015 : Imphal West Students' Club (IWSC), Khumbong has appealed to the Director of Department of Veterinary and Animal Husbandry and Ministry concerned to spare some land measuring 60 feet wide and 100 feet long for the purpose of building a community hall.

According to the general secretary of IWSC, fencing at Khumbong Veterinary Hospital is presently going on and urged the Veterinary Department to leave aside some land for constructing a community hall as the people of Khumbong area are in dire need of a community hall.

IWSC also said that the proposed community hall will not only cater to the needs of the villagers but also of those offices in and around the Veterinary hospital for organising functions.
