Newly appointed Chairperson of MSCW assumes charge

Imphal, July 18 2022: The newly appointed Chairperson of Manipur State Commission for Women (MSCW), Ulka Salam has assumed the charge today.

She was accorded a warm welcome by the members of the Commission, Thumlip Tiningpham Monsang, Lourembam Dayabati Devi, Chuongsin Koireng and staff today, said a press release by MSCW.

The members also expressed firm belief that the new Chairperson will work for the upliftment of downtrodden women in the State and will spearhead the activities of the Commission.

The members also extended best wishes and success in all her future endeavours, added the release.
