Assam Rifles conducts anti-drug drive

Imphal, August 17 2021: Churachandpur Sector of IGAR (South) organised an awareness programme against drug abuse for Churachandpur, Pherzawl, Noney and Bishnupur districts on Tuesday.

According to PRO IGAR(S), the awareness,drive was organised online with an aim to create awareness amongst locals about the harmful effects of drug abuse on body and society.

Drugs and crime inter-relation and root cause of spread of various diseases were also adequately briefed to the villagers, it added.
