Imphal, November 16, 2012: Security forces under Red Shield Division celebrated Children's Day at Kwakta George's Tutorial Home, where a large number of students alongwith their parents attended the programme.

According to a PIB (DW) release, the students and teachers presented a colourful cultural programme.

The Commanding Officer on behalf of Army greeted the gathering and complimented the students for putting up and excellent programme and the staff for functioning of the school.

The students were motivated to excel in all fields of life by giving live examples of outstanding achievers of Manipur State.

The event was enjoyed by the guests and students alike.

The occasion concluded with a prize distribution for the children, followed by refreshment and lunch organized by the Battalion.
