Lai-Haraoba festival

Imphal, May 16 2016:
A 5-day Lai-Haraoba festival would be organised by Jawaharlal Nehru Manipur Dance Academy, Imphal
from May 17 to May 21 at the academy premises.
The main high-
lights of the festival will be daily rituals programme, Ekouba, lai
Lamthokpa and Lairoi.
On the other hand, a MoU was signed between Debashi
Chakravorty, Registrar, Visva-Bharati, a Central university at
Santiniketan, West Bengal and L Upendro Sharma, Director,
Jawaharlal Nehru Dance Manipur Dance Academy, Imphal
on May 12 for mutual collaboration and enrichment of stu-
dents, faculty and pedagogic exchange programme.
