Imphal, December 15 2013: The general election to the Tangkhul Katamnao Long Imphal (TKLI) was held at Tangkhul Avenue Community Hall here this morning.

During the election, Thotchan R Shimray, Benjamin T and Ringchipem Awungshi were unanimously elected as President, Speaker and Deputy Speaker respectively for the tenure 2014-15, according to a notification issued by Songam Shatshang, Election commissioner of TKLI.
