Churachandpur, April 15 2018: The Zomi Students' Federation has expressed heartfelt congratulations to Justice T Vaiphei (Retired Chief Justice of Tripura High Court) on his appointment as Chairperson of Assam Human Rights Commission (AHRC) on April 9 .

A man of dignity and deeds, Justice T Vaiphei has relentlessly worked for the betterment of the society and always maintained an exemplary life, especially for the student community.

The Federation is proud to note that he is the first and only person among the Zomis to hold this prestigious position, it said.
