Thoubal, March 13 2018: Khorirol Sandok-lup Wangjing in a statement today said that the deadline for submission of books based on Manipuri folklore for award (Dr Soibam Kumar Singh Memorial award 2018) consideration has been extended till March 30 .

Dr Soibam Kumar Singh Memorial award is a biennial award and is exclusively for books on Manipuri folklore.

The authors should not be awardee of Sahitya Akademy Award, State Literary Award or any other awards above the two, said the statement of the lup.The statement further said the lup has removed the cap on year of publication of the books.

Authors may submit 3 copies of their books at Global Book Store or Lamjingba Publication, Wangjing Bazar.

The award will be presented on the lup's foundation day on June 8 .
