The Manipur Government Services’s Federation has informed all the concerned member officers, employees, pensioners, teachers and workers that the schedule of strike to be launched on October 25 and November 2, will remain unchanged until a new development in this regard is circulated .
A press release issued by the president of the federation stated that a delegate of the federation comprised of its president, Dr M Rajendra Singh, vice president, RK Thoibisana Devi, general secretary, Purujit, secretary administration, L Nabakumar, secretary finance, A Indubala Devi, president of Pensioners’ Union, H Yaima Singh, president of LDA Employees’ Association, P Shyamkumar Singh, secretary publicity, M Iboyaima Meetei and executive, K Lalit met with the Chief Secretary, Government of Manipur today and expressed resentment towards the State Government’s inactive delay in adopting 7th Central pay in Manipur .
It pointed out that a status report on implementation of 7th pay will be placed tomorrow afternoon by the Principal Secretary (Finance), Vivek Kumar Dewangan.
