Kohima, December 11 2013:
The Nagaland Secretariat Service Association (NSSA) today decided to suspend its ongoing agitation against the state government.
NSSA president Imti Longchar told PTI the decision was taken this evening at an emergency meeting of the general body of NSSA at the Secretariat Plaza.
He said the government gave time-bound assurances yesterday to fulfill the Association's four-point charter of demands.
The ongoing pen down/cease-work agitation of the NSSA stands suspended till January 15, 2014, he said, adding the Association would review its decision if the assurances were not fulfilled within the committed time frame.
