Silchar, December 10 2017: Two books, namely Nongdi Churakli,a collection of short stories and Mangalgee Mashek Khara, a book for children on Sahitya, both written by Asem Mani Singh were released today at a ceremony organised by Singh and Sons Publishers Laishramkhun at Rajesh-worpur part I LP School, Assam .

The books were published with Asem Ongbi Uma Devi as its publisher.

Keisham Birendra Singh, Laishram Khogen Singh, Laishram Tejmani Singh, Kunjalal Yendrembam and Soibam Binoy, AIR Imphal correspondent attended the programme .

Sahityaratna Awardee, Naoroibam Dhananjoy Singh and Khongjom Parba Artist, Assam Silpi Awardee, Meikambam Balai Singh were honoured with a shawl each at the event.

Journalists from Manipur on a tour to Assam also attended the event and were honoured by the host presenting with a shawl each.
