Imphal, October 05 2015: Patriotic Writers' Forum, Manipur, Marup Organisation, Lalsingmura (Tripura) and Patriotic Writers' Forum, Tripura jointly organised the first orientation programme on Meetei Mayek for two days on Oct 1 and 2.School, college and university students numbering about 30 attended the programme, according to a statement.

Various other activities were also taken up by nine members of PWF, Manipur who went to Lalsingmura (Tripura) during their stay from Sept 29 to Oct 5 .

Friendly football match between Daccabari and Lalsingmura villages, observance of 119th Lamyanba Irabot's birth anniversary and interaction with locals marked the visit of the PWF members, it added.
