Imphal, February 01 2023: Demanding regularisation of service of the contractual non-teaching staff, a sit in protest was staged at NIT complex, Langol on Wednesday.

Speaking to reporters during the protest demonstration, one of the protestors informed that the contractual non-teaching staff of NIT have been rendering their service without any complain despite facing various problems for a long time only to save NIT Manipur.

However, despite existence of vacant posts since 2014, the Contractual staff have not be absorbed dr regularised till date, the protestor said, while adding that the agitation will continue until their demands are fulfilled.
