Imphal, October 31 2021: Mantripukhri Battalion of IGAR (S) distributed 20 water tanks to Urangpat and Gwalthabi villages under Assam Rifles CAP project at Yaingangpokpi Company Operating Base in Imphal East district on Sunday.

According to PRO IGAR (S), the event commenced with a small address by commanding officer followed by the distribution of the water tanks to the villagers.

The initiative taken by the Battalion has solved the long pending need of provision of drinking water storage facility to both villages, the PRO said.
