VDF unit backs central committee's decision

Imphal, June 30 2022: Imphal East District VDF Welfare Association convened its general body meeting on Thursday at Nungoi Mayai Leikai and discussed thoroughly about non-implementation of demands made by All Manipur VDF Welfare Association to the government.

The meeting later resolved to extend fullest support to whatever decision taken by All Manipur VDF Welfare Association regarding demands of VDF.

According to a statement of District Association, VDF personnel have been taking key role in maintaining law and order situation of the state and actively take part in government's 'War on Drug' mission but the government continues to sideline demands of the VDF.

It then urged the government to fulfil demands of VDF at the earliest.
