Imphal, June 30 2015 : The Department of Posts, Manipur will organise a week-long programme on postal products from July 1 to 6 as part of the nationwide launching of the 'Digital India Week' .

The Department will screen the live streaming of the Digital India Week inauguration by the Prime Minister on the first day of the programme at Imphal Head Post Office.

Other highlights of the week long programme would be saving bank and PLI melas, linking of Aadhar and mobile numbers with saving and PLI policies, a visit of school children to computerised Imphal HPO, Thoubal MDG and Churachandpur MDG and a customer meet on e-commerce and public grievances all of which showcase the digital transformation in Post office.
