Imphal, March 31 2017: 5 JAK Rifles, 45 Assam Rifles, 6 Assam Rifles and 2 Assam Rifles, units of 9 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South) celebrated Yaoshang with locals of different localities in Imphal East, Imphal West, Thoubal, Kangpokpi and Bishnupur districts.

Ten-day 'Yaoshang Sports Festival' was organised by 9 Sector Assam Rifles to celebrate the spirit of sportsmanship and festival fervour in the State.

Volleyball, football, tug of war, run and cultural programmes including Thabal Chongba were also organized.
