Imphal, August 30 2014 : 6 DOGRA of 26 Sector AR under the aegis of HQ IGAR(South) organised a mobile medical camp at New Songyang Old Songyang, Moltuk and other surrounding villages on August 29.During the camp, elderly aged persons and children were specially checked and provided with necessary medical treatment alongwith medicines.

Many citizens from Myanmar utilised this opportunity to obtain free medical treatment by travelling across the IB under the Free Move Regime.

This effort and initiative of 6 DOGRA was highly appreciated by the locals and it has given a new dimension to strengthen the bond between Assam Rifles and local populace.

More such mobile medical camps are being planned in future which shall go a long way in meeting the genuine requirement of medical assistance to the people of these far flung villages.
