Imphal, July 30 2018: Indian Medical Association Manipur State Branch has condemned an incident on July 28 which left staff of Thoubal District Hospital 'injured' and hospital properties 'damaged' .

Such incidents will never bring about a healthy society, rather it will lead to suffering of the people including doctors and particularly the poor section of the society, said a statement of the Indian Medical Association Manipur Branch today.

It appealed the Government to take up appropriate measures to protect health institutions and ensure a conducive environment for the health care providers to carry out their duties towards the people.
