Imphal, July 30 2013: In view of the upcoming Manipur Baptist Convention Secretary Conference at Kwatha in Chandel district from September 13 till 16, event host Meitei Baptist Association has appealed to all concerned to desist from calling/imposing bandh/blockade.

Briefing mediapersons at Manipur Baptist Convention Centre Church, Chingmeirong today MBA finance secretary SR Onisema said the Kwatha session to be attended by about 29 delegates would deliberate on various issues currently afflicting the Manipuri society and strive to work out a viable mechanism for restoring the law and order situation in the State.

MBA executive secretary Th Ganeshwor, who was also present during the media briefing called upon every section of the society to attend the conference.

He also reiterated MBA's appeal not to impose agitation to enable the delegates participate without any hindrance.
