One arrested with DIC liquor

Imphal, July 29 2018: Police and personnel of Excise Department have arrested a man identified as Thounaojam Bishworjit s/o Bishembor of Sekmai Khunou with 41,000 litres of DIC liquor near office of the Excise Department at Lamphelpat yesterday.

Bishworjit was nabbed while transporting the liquor in a Bolero.

After a case was registered, he was fined Rs 10,000 and has been released on bail, said DSP Excise HQ Chance Raikhan.
