Imphal, April 26 2018: 40 litres of local liquor seized by a team of Narcotic Cell IE district, assisted by members of Naharup Mayai Leikai Meira Paibi yesterday night, were disposed today by burning outside Porompat PS complex.

The liquor was seized by a team of Narcotic cell IE with assistance from local Meira Paibis during a surprise drive yesterday, from around Naharup Mayai Leikai.

During the drive, 2 persons were arrested along with 40 litres of local liquor.

The arrested individuals were handed over to Porompat PS last night.
