Tamei Bn organises mobile 'Join India Army campaign for women'

Senapati, June 25 2021: The Indian Army yesterday organised a mobile "Join the Indian Army Campaign for Women" for remote villages of Tamenglong and Kangpokpi district including Makui, Phoikon, Chalwa, Geljang, Gelbung, Gelnel, Songpaibung & Lasan.

A special vehicle mounted with loud speaker went to the remote areas explaining the opportunities available and information on Women Recruitment procedure of joining the Indian Army.

The vehicle was flagged off from Makui by the Company Commander of Makui under Tamei Battalion.

Officers of Tamei Battalion in collaboration with local youth club members also explained about the requirements for eligible women candidates to join the Indian Army.

Awareness on COVID-19 prevention measures were also given to the residents of these far flung villages.
