Jiribam, June 25 2019: International Day Against Drug Abuse & Illicit Trafficking was observed at Jiribam Tuesday.

Organised by New Incarnation Centre, Jiribam, the programme at its office in Kalinagar was attended by S Santi Devi, Chairperson, Jiribam Municipal Council (JMC ), S Jiten Singh, Project Co-Ordinator, NIC Jiribam, W Dinesh Meetei, gen secy, JDO Jiribam, Dr Thangsapao Kamei, Medical Officer, NIC Jiribam as presidium members.

International Day Against Drug Abuse & Illicit Trafficking observed

Speaking at the event, Chairperson of JMC, S Santi Devi advised youths to distant themselves away from drugs and maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Encouraging families and locals to educate children about the harmful effects of drug abuse, she also advised them to rehabilitate the drug users.
