Imphal, December 24, 2013: A student was found dead in a rented house at Khoyathong Polem Leikai today morning.

The deceased has been identified as Heikrujam Premkumar alias John (21), s/o Babu of Wangoo Nungaikhong Mapan.

According to the family members, the deceased Premkumar used to stay in a rented house at Khoyathong for his studies.

He also took up menial jobs to earn some money during his free time.

Police picked up the body and later handed it over to the bereaved family members after the post-mortem was conducted at RIMS Hospital.
