Chandel, January 20 2020: As part of consistent endeavour of Assam Rifles towards improving healthcare, Joupi Battalion of 28 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South) organised a medical camp in Tolbung village of Chandel district.

A dedicated and well qualified team of doctors and paramedical staff from Assam Rifles conducted the medical camp, said PRO, IGAR.

The locals showed overwhelming responses.

A total of 117 patients were rendered free medical treatment and medicines during the medical camp.

Apart from providing necessary medical assistance, basic knowledge on health education, hygiene and sanitation was imparted as well.
