Imphal, January 19 2022: Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Imphal East CAU organised a training programme on 'Harvest and post-harvest fisheries' at KVK training hall, Andro from January 17 to 19.Speaking at the training programme, KVK Imphal East programme co-ordinator S Motibala Devi stressed on the importance of promoting fish farming and manufacturing of fish products that can generate income for the farmers.

During the programme, several experts explained processes to keep the fish fresh for a long time, seasoning of fish using solar dryer and making of fish products among others.

The programme was attended by 40 women trainees.
